Russian Railways will increase salaries by 5% from August 1, the company said.

According to the collective agreement, indexation is carried out at least twice a year. But taking into account economic factors, the company’s management decided on an unscheduled increase in the salaries of employees, the report says.

In Russian Railways, this is the third salary indexation since the beginning of the year, the first was carried out from March 1 by 4.2%, the second – from May 1 by 5%.

The company employs more than 700 thousand people. Wages are indexed for all employees at the same time.
